Have a splendid family time at Newport Mall’s Family Funfair

A fabulous weekend filled with exciting entertainment, shopping treats, fun activities and other surprises awaits the families at the Family Funfair happening over at Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila from July 19 to 21.   
 

Families looking to spend some quality time together can look forward to an even more enjoyable bonding experience at the three-day extravaganza, which will be highlighted by a mini-variety show on July 20 at The Plaza, where parents and kids can learn and be entertained at the same time.
 

Leading the musical and theatrical offerings for the whole family is a live performance from the country’s R&B and Soul Princess, and new mommy Kyla. Resort World Manila’s talented bicyclist will also be showcasing his breathtaking stunts that will surely enthrall both the kids and kids at heart, while Trumpets Playshop’s budding talents have also prepared a special musical number for everyone. 
 

There will also be a lot of fun learning opportunities for both parents and the kids from July 19 to 20.   
 

On the 20th, celebrity mom and broadcaster Christine Babao will be giving a talk on choosing the right stories and story-telling techniques for the kids. Mommy Des Labii of Nanay’s Lunches with Love will also be sharing tips on how to give quick, easy and attractive ‘baon’ for the kids. Working moms, meanwhile, can learn new techniques on how to spruce up their look both at home and at work with make-up and styling lessons from renowned celebrity make-up artist Nadj Zaragosa.
 

Kids can enrich their creative skills and learn new art techniques by attending the Art Workshop by Faber Castell, have a delightful time designing Krispy Kreme donuts or have fun at one of the numerous mini-rides from Worlds of fun – all available for their enjoyment on July 20. 
 

They can also have fun exercising their creative flair with do-it-yourself clay baking by Beauty and Beads, paper crafting and card making by Yellow Violet House, have their photos taken at the iFlick photo booth or try out other cool kiddie activities such as balloon twisting, face painting and many more from July 19 to 20.
 

And on July 21, kids will get the chance to sing, dance and play with their favorite friendly dinosaur Barney. The well-loved purple dinosaur will also be staging an exclusive Meet&Greet for families who will meet the purchase requirement, giving the young ones a rare opportunity to meet Barney up-close. 
 

Shoppers, meanwhile, can shop for great fashion finds such as bags, pouches, accessories and personal care products at the Family Funfair bazaar.  Kids can also scour for the latest toys, collectibles kiddie apparels and other educational materials at the fair, which will be open from July 19 to 20.
