British life insurer Pru Life UK was conferred with five honors by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)-Philippines at the Philippine Quill Awards 2013. The Company’s employee engagement program Serbisyong PRUbliko – Todo na ‘to! Pru Life UK Employee Welfare Committee 2013 Initiatives received an Award of Excellence under the Internal Communication Category. Serbisyong PRUbliko was likewise a finalist in the Top Division Award under the Communication Management Division.
Two other entries received Awards of Excellence – Pru Life UK’s flagship corporate social responsibility program, the Cha-Ching Financial Literacy Training for Teachers – Empowering Next Generation Teachers on 21st Century Skills (Communication Management Division, Advocacy Communication); and its innovative training resource manual The BOSS is right! – Pru Life UK’s Business Operating Success System (BOSS) for Unit Managers (Communication Skills Division, Publications Category).
Awards of Merit were presented to the company’s disaster preparedness initiative Prudence Foundation-Plan International School-Based Climate Smart Disaster Risk Reduction Program (Communication Management Division, Advocacy Communication); and to PruTimes, the employee e-magazine of Pru Life UK (Communication Skills Division, Digital Communication Vehicles).
The Philippine Quill Awards is an annual recognition conferred by IABC-Philippines. Regarded as the most prestigious and relevant award for business communicators, it recognizes excellent communication programs, skills, and creative work.
