Nestlé Philippines joins the nation in efforts to help relieve the suffering of thousands of families who have been tragically affected by Typhoon Yolanda.

More than 300,000 nutrient-fortified, ready-to-consume food and beverage products have been sent to date, based on criteria from agencies, with 540,000 bottles of water also slated for delivery. We are working very closely with the Philippine National Red Cross, government agencies and other organizations who have the capability and infrastructure to immediately deliver relief goods to the victims of this tragic calamity. More than 300,000 nutrient-fortified, ready-to-eat and ready-to-drink products have so far been provided, and 540,000 bottles of water will be delivered through these agencies to badly hit areas in the coming days.
With a strong spirit of volunteerism, our employees are providing assistance to the typhoon victims, joining in rescue efforts, participating in the packing of relief goods, and providing other forms of support including donations of cash, clothes and other basic necessities. A bank account has been set up for Nestlé Philippines employees and retirees who wish to donate to the relief effort. Similar programs have been set up in other Nestle companies in the region. Likewise, an international facility has been set up by the Nestlé global headquarters in Switzerland for Nestlé employees all over the world who would like to help in this time of need. All donations received from employees will be matched by the Nestlé Group.
Meanwhile, all Nestlé employees in the hardest hit areas have been contacted and every effort is being made to ensure their safety. All Nestlé factories and distribution centers are undamaged and are operating normally.
Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers go to the typhoon victims in this most difficult time, as they grapple with their terrible pain and loss.
