GMA Dagupan wins awards at Tagnawa Media Awards 2015
GMA Dagupan won several awards at the fourth annual Tagnawa Media Awards of the University of Pangasinan Association of Communication Students (UPACS).
Mike Sabado was named the Best Male Field Reporter of rhe Year while 24 Oras North Central Luzon anchor CJ Torida was named Best Male News Presenter of the Year.
"Asahan niyo po na ipagpapatuloy namin ang Serbisyong Totoo sa lahat ng ating mga Kapuso," said Sabado, who attended the awarding.
Tributes were also presented to Hall of Famer awardees, or those who won the awards for the past three years. These include:
- Joyce Segui as Best Female Field Reporter
- "Talk to Papa Dagupan" of Barangay 93.5 as Best Radio FM program
- "Balitang Amianan," now 24 Oras North Central Luzon, as best local news program
- "Talk to Papa Dagupan" of Barangay 93.5 as Best Radio FM program
- "Balitang Amianan," now 24 Oras North Central Luzon, as best local news program
"Maraming salamat sa mga Kapuso nating estudyante lalo na sa bumubuo ng Tagnawa Media Awards," Segui said.
For his part, Papa Jake of "Talk to Papa Dagupan" said they will continue to deliver the "Tugs-Tugan at Tawanan."
The Tagnawa Awards recognizes the dedication of media practitioners to their craft, as well as the public service they render.
Meanwhile, UPACS adviser Michelle Pasaoa said they are planning to expand the awards as the number of mass communication student grows.
