Private sector celebrates reopening of PH economy, thanks IATF and NTF for public-private partnership
In a recent event at Ayala Museum last May 5, Task Force T3 celebrated the partnership with IATF and NTF in managing covid crisis in the past 2 years and the accomplishments to reach alert level 1.
T3 is a consortium of private companies, formed in Apr 2020, to partner with government and augment its efforts to manage covid with contributions that included PPEs, Testing Laboratories, Vaccination and support for reopening of the economy safely.
At the event, core members of T3 recognized the efforts of DOH under the leadership of Secretary Francisco Duque and NVOC under Under-Secretary Myrna Cabotaje, the support from IATF Co-Chair (former) Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles who served as private sector liaison and the partnership with DTI under Secretary Ramon Lopez. Recognition was also presented to DILG Secretary Eduardo Año for his guidance to all LGUs nationwide. T3 also appreciated the accomplishment of (former) MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos Jr. and all NCR Mayors for being a model region in achieving herd immunity through vaccination. Finally, tributes were given to NTF Chief Implementer and Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. and NTF Deputy Chief Implementer and Presidential Adviser for Covid Secretary Vince Dizon for their leadership, resilience and determination to accelerate vaccination.
The event ended with a toast led by Secretary Galvez and Ayala Corporation Chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala to celebrate the hard work, cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors that has led to alert 1 since March 2022.
