Changing the Narrative of Philippine Education by Making Reforms Work at the 2025 PhilEd Conference
The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) invites educators, policymakers, and advocates to join the 2025 PhilEd Conference and have collaborative discussions addressing education reforms, issues, and trends that impact Philippine education happening December 3–4, 2025 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
With the theme “Changing the Narrative of Philippine Education by Making Reforms Work,” the 2025 PhilEd Conference offers a dynamic space for reflection, learning, and collaboration on meaningful reforms, while also strengthening complementarity between private and public education to ensure proactive and effective engagement among sectors and stakeholders.
Participants can look forward to lectures by international experts on inclusive education partnerships, future-ready workforce development, and ethical integration of emerging technologies; concurrent sessions on critical education areas such as pathways and equivalencies, quality assurance, assessment, governance and finance, and education practices and trends; and networking opportunities that provide actionable insights, proven strategies, and practical tools to address challenges in Philippine education.
The conference will feature a plenary session led by DepEd Secretary, Hon. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” M. Angara; TESDA Director-General, Hon. Jose Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez; and CHEd Chairperson, Hon. Shirley C. Agrupis.
This year’s international resource persons include Dr. Adrian Kuah, Director of the Futures Office of National University of Singapore; Christopher Fett-Nguyen, Professional Learning Manager-Asia of Britannica Education; and Bruce Poh, Chief Skills Officer of World Skill Center.
Prominent educators and experts in the country will also have sessions at the conference such as Dr. Allan B.I. Bernardo, Distinguished University Professor and University Fellow at De La Salle University; Fr. Johnny C. Go, SJ, Dean of the School of Education and Learning Design at Ateneo de Manila University; Dr. Milwida M. Guevara, Executive Director of Synergeia Foundation, Inc.; and Dir. Kochakorn Khattapan Acidre, Deputy Centre Director of SEAMEO INNOTECH, among others.
