IBP to hold 'Run for Justice and Family Day' on Feb. 15

The Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) is set to hold the "IBP Run for Justice and Family Day" this Sunday, February 15.

The event marks IBP's 53rd Founding Anniversary, which will be held nationwide, including in Ortigas City, Cebu City, and Davao City, together with chapter-led activities.

Nearly 9,000 registered participants nationwide, including lawyers, judges, court personnel, law students, IBP members, their families, and members of the public are expected to attend the event.

Run for Justice and Family Day is a nationwide expression of solidarity, service, and care within the legal profession, in recognition of those who carry the daily demands of justice also require community, support, and well-being.

The event is anchored on the principle that care within the profession allows care beyond it, reinforcing the idea that public service is sustained when those who serve are themselves supported.

The IBP emphasizes that justice is not sustained by institutions alone, but by people. Through a nationwide fun run and family-centered activities, the organization highlights the human dimension of the legal profession and its enduring commitment to public service.

Now in its 53rd year, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines continues to affirm its dual mandate:

• to uphold the integrity and welfare of the legal profession; and

• to remain firmly rooted in service to the Filipino people.

The nationwide IBP Run for Justice and Family Day was driven by the coordinated leadership of Atty. Job Florante L. Castillo, National Director for Peer Assistance, and Atty. Aiza Mae J. Kanda, National Director for Conventions and Special Events, with strategic direction and institutional oversight from Atty. Allan G. Panolong, National President, and the 27th Board of Governors.
