Google presents toy-themed Christmas doodle

A parade of toys highlighted search giant Google's traditional Christmas Eve doodle for 2012.

 

Visitors to Google's homepage (www.google.com) were greeted with the sight of toys being led by a toy soldier in a parade.

 

In the background is a row of boxes and containers that spell out the word "Google."  

 

As in the past, clicking on the doodle will take the visitor to a Google Search Results page for "Happy Holidays."

 

An article on IBN Live said the Christmas Eve doodle has been a tradition of sorts for Google.

 

In 2011, the doodle included a lighted snowflake, Santa Claus, bell, snowman, candle and a gift box.
