Philippine National Police (PNP) spokesperson Wilben Mayor declined to comment on the issue surrounding PNP Director for Plans Chief Superintendent Alexander Ignacio, who has come under fire online after a model shared a calling card purportedly from him that she had allegedly used to evade a coding violation.

The firestorm began after Alyzza Agustin, a model who appeared in FHM Philippines' 100 Sexiest Women issue last year, posted photos of the calling card with the caption: "Nahuli na naman ako dahil coding but because of you Boss Alex wala ng huli huli. Thank you so much sa napaka useful mong card with matching dedication pa #happykid"

Agustin would later delete the picture, but the blog Newsgraph published a screenshot of her post.

Mayor said that people should give Ignacio a chance to share his side of the story before any judgments are made.

Ignacio is currently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the 5th ASEANAPOL Contact Persons Meeting and is unavailable for comment. The conference is from September 29 to October 3, 2014. — JST, GMA News
