Watch: Video showing funniest fails of 2014 goes viral

With 2014 drawing to a close, what better way to face the coming year with a smile than a compilation of the year's funniest video fails?

A group calling itself the Fail Army did just that, collecting the year's most amusing videos into a 25-minute package on YouTube.

The video, which was posted only on Dec. 26, went viral and has gained 693,584 views as of 3 p.m.

Among the fails featured in the video were a selfie attempt in front of a moving train, and ice bucket challenges gone awry.



"Are you ready for the ultimate fails compilation of 2014? Get ready to enjoy the best faceplants, wipeouts, and funny epic fails 2014 had to offer!" Fail Army said in its YouTube post.

Tech site Mashable described the as "a long, winding — and occasionally, distressing — journey through this year's most absurd fails."
