As nation mourns #Fallen44, netizens disappointed because #LateAngPangulo

On Thursday, the absence of President Benigno Aquino III during the arrival honors for the slain PNP-SAF officers was keenly felt throughout social media, pushing the hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo into the top trending topics for the country.

By Friday morning, the necrological service for the officers had to be paused due to the pending arrival of the president.

Filipino netizens took to the hashtag #LateAngPangulo to express their disappointment over the delay, even though Aquino was not scheduled to be there during the first part of the service, which started at 9 a.m. According to the official itinerary, the president was scheduled to arrive at the venue at 10 a.m. He arrived a few minutes later.

That, however, did not stop netizens from expressing their disappointment.
