Confused K-Pop fans make 'Oplan Exodus' trend amid Mamasapano hearing
As the House joint panel hearing on the Mamasapano encounter continued Wednesday, the term "Oplan Exodus" became a trending topic on Twitter.
It was the codename of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force operation to arrest suspected terrorists, leading to the death of more than 60 Filipinos, including 44 elite police commandos.

But a closer look at the Twitter trend reveals that the term was picked up by K-Pop fans, who thought it had something to do with Korean boyband EXO.
