Fans didn't waste any time in expressing their enthusiasm for the idea of Ronda Rousey portraying Captain Marvel after the undefeated MMA champion expressed interest in vying for the role.

Shortly after the fighter stated in a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything thread that she'd "like to vie for Miss Marvel," Rousey received fan-made art casting her as the superheroine.

Rousey reposted several of the artwork in her Instagram account, expressing her excitement at the prospect of starring in Marvel's first female superhero movie set to be in theaters in 2018.
