'Pia is the winner,' Wikipedia tells Colombia fans who keep editing Miss Universe page

She may not have won the crown, but Miss Colombia Ariadna María Gutiérrez Arévalo can rest easy knowing that for her fans, she's Miss Universe 2015.

Editors of the online and open encyclopedia Wikipedia has left a note for users, asking them to stop editing the Miss Universe 2015 page. This comes after several attempts to change the results and declare Miss Colombia the winner of the pageant.

Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned Miss Universe after a "non-traditional" announcement by host Steve Harvey. She described the turn of events as "very 2015."

First runner up Miss Colombia has already graciously accepted the results, while Harvey and the organizers of the pageant expressed their sincerest apologies for the blunder.  —Aya Tantiangco/JST, GMA News
