HD drone video showing 'new, improved' Roxas Boulevard

The front row to the famous Manila Bay sunset just got a makeover.

Urban planner Paulo Alcazaren boasted as much in a drone video he shared on his Facebook account.

"If you have time this weekend, come on down to the made-over Roxas Boulevard. Clean, green, and open to everyone. Walk, bike, jog, or saunter, down the two-kilometer esplanade on either side of the road (both sides have been improved to be pedestrian and bike friendly, better lit and better paved). Bring a friend ...or the whole barkada," he wrote in the post last Friday that has since gone viral, getting more than 2,000 shares and more than 130,000 as of Monday afternoon.

"If government continues to invest in infrastructure for people and bike riders as a priority over vehicles, then we can re-make our cities to provide better settings for social interaction, recreation, the development of civic spirit and public fun!" added Alcazaren. —JST, GMA News
