Baron Geisler picks fight, assaults UP student filmmaker

A University of the Philippines Visual Communication student named Khalil Verzosa posted on Sunday a video of actor Baron Geisler shouting and getting physical with members of a school production for an editorial design campaign.

Geisler is heard berating and cursing a student in a red shirt, seemingly losing his cool over the use of an idiot board — a board where dialogue is written for actors to read.

In the accompanying caption, Verzosa explained that they were only able to send Geisler the script on the morning of the day of the shoot because, as students, they had to attend to other matters.

"Late nakapagcoordinate kay baron kaya late yung script na nabigay pero as a director, I made sure na morning ko masend na sa kanya at the very least, kasi maikli lang naman. natuloy kami at nagsorry nung dumating siya sa set pero nagpaparinig na siya na sana kasi maaga binigay yung script, so nagsorry pa rin kami kasi alam naman namin na kasalanan namin," Verzosa wrote.

In July 2015, Geisler was involved in an altercation with a bouncer in Pampanga. He was also been detained in the past for getting involved in fights. He was also found guilty of acts of lasciviousness in 2013. — APG, GMA News
