Even though she's one of the most accomplished singers in Philippine history, Regine Velasquez knows not to take herself all that seriously.

The Kapuso singer-actress poked fun at herself with a meme this past weekend as the country was dealing with enhanced habagat rains pulled in by cyclone Gorio.

The meme is based on a line of Regine's cover of "Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka," a song written by Ryan Cayabyab about lovers who relish their time together during a heavy downpour.

Regine's post seemed to bring laughs to her followers too, garnering more than 12,000 likes after posting. —JST, GMA News
