Manny Pacquiao gave Keith Thurman the first loss of his career on Sunday and social media plenty of ammo.

Pacquiao sent Thurman to the deck with a powerful right hook set up by a left body shot.

“He’s a great champion,” said Thurman, who acknowledged that getting knocked down in the first round put him in a big hole early on.

Thurman tried to turn things around in the second half of the fight, but was again rocked by a powerful body shot by Pacquiao in the 10th. Still, he had his fair share of fans for the performance, with one judge scoring the fight for him, resulting in a split decision for Pacquiao.
