Jose Mari Chan reveals favorite 'Christmas in Our Hearts' meme

Every end of August and beginning of September, Jose Mari Chan lords over social media, with countless memes going viral. It’s something Jose Mari Chan is well aware of.

“Pinapadala sa ‘kin ng friends ko! Some of them are very amusing,” the legendary crooner tells GMA News Online after he appeared on Unang Hirit Monday.

Of the truckload, there is one particular meme that he tickles his fancy.

“The funniest I’ve seen is the one of NASA, where they were trying to listen to the sound of the sun. That’s the most clever and funniest.”

While he’s super game with the all the viral fun, Jose Mari Chan refuses to be called the symbol of Christmas. “I’m just a humble singer-songwriter who happen to have written a song that touched the hearts and lives of our countrymen,” he said.
