Pacquiao posts school ID, draws 100k likes in three hours

Senator Manny Pacquiao, the second richest senator in the 18th Congress and the only eight-division world boxing champion, is inspiring netizens after posting a picture of his school ID.

As seen on his ID, Pacquiao is now enrolled at the University of Makati, taking up political science and local government administration.

"Never stop learning because life never stops teaching," Pacquiao said in his Instagram post.

Pacquiao barely finished his elementary studies when he started his boxing career. 

However, he earned his high school diploma by passing an accreditation and equivalency test, and was asked to be an ambassador for the Department of Education’s Alternative Learning System in 2007.

He took up business administration at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University in 2008. —NB, GMA News
