Facebook Messenger launches limited edition 'Star Wars' chat theme, stickers, and filters

Disney has brought a galaxy far, far away to Facebook Messenger.

The messaging app can now be customized to have "Star Wars"-themed chats, stickers, and AR effects, thanks to a collaboration between Disney and Facebook.

The limited edition features include a galaxy themed backdrop, new reaction emojis that you can use on your friends' messages, an adorable new sticker set, and fun filters.

The new gimmick comes a mere few weeks before the release of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker," the film that would conclude the Skywalker saga of the franchise. It will open in Philippine theaters on January 8.
