4 things about Super Bowl 2020 that the internet couldn't stop talking about
Super Bowl hogged social media all through Monday morning — and for different reasons. There's J. Lo and Shakira's explosive performance, of course, but there are so many other things too! We mean:
1. Demi Lovato making her 10-year-old dream, or tweet, come true.
Ten years ago, Demi claimed in a tweet that she will one day sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

Fast-forward to Superbowl 2020 and here she is.

2. J.Lo's daughter also performed!
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's performance was explosive. It was everything — and more. J. Lo's daughter Emme was among the group of children who joined her on stage. Much like her mom, Emme slayed it too.

3. Someone spent $6M to thank vet school that saved his dog's life
That someone is of course a CEO, who wanted to shout out his gratitude for a veterinary school that saved his dog.
WeatherTech's head honcho, David MacNeil's dog Scout was diagnosed with cancer in 2019.

According to The New York Post, the 7-year-old golden retriever had an aggressive blood cancer called hemangiosacroma after a tumor on his heart was found via ultrasound.
The Post said Scout was brought to the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine and underwent chemotherapy and radiation to reduce the size of his tumor which had shrunk to 10% of its original size. Currently, it's almost entirely gone.
The Super Bowl 2020, the commercial featured Scout and the University of Wisconsin School of Vet.

"Hi I'm Scout and I'm a lucky dog and it's not just because I found this cool stick or I was in the commercial of the big game last year. It's that I'm a cancer survivor, had a tumor on my heart with only 1% chance survivor," a voice over said in the video.
"I'm alive thanks to the cutting edge program at the university of Wisconsin school of veterinary medicine. Their research has the potential to save millions of pets lives. Pets make a difference in their life you can make a difference in theirs," it added.
Last year, Scout was also featured on WeatherTech's ad.
WeatherTech is a car accessory manufacturer which was founded by MacNeil out of his home in Clarendon Hills, Illinois in 1989.
4. Google's tearjerking commercial
The advertisement starts with an elderly man's voice asking Google Assistant (GA) to show him photos he had with his late wife "Loretta."
After GA does exactly that, he asks GA again to help him remember things about Loretta. GA does it again.
Towards the end of the video, the man asked Google Assistant to help him "remember that I'm the luckiest man in the world." The video garnered over 10 million views as of this writing.
