Burj Khalifa in Dubai lights up in support of China amid nCoV outbreak

Amid the growing fear and tragedy surrounding the novel coronavirus (nCoV), the Burj Khalifa signaled a sign of support for Wuhan, China, where the outbreak originated from.

Dubai's most iconic skyscraper projected China's flag, with a message that read, "Wuhan ji?yóu." In English, this translates to "Stay strong, Wuhan."

The Faceboook page of the skyscraper shared photos of the projection and wrote, "Burj Khalifa lights up in support of Wuhan in these difficult times. Stay strong, Wuhan."

The number of confirmed deaths from China's coronavirus outbreak spiked to 425, after authorities in Hubei province reported 64 new fatalities Tuesday.

The national total of confirmed infections are now at 19,550, based on numbers previously issued by the central government.

The epidemic, which has spiraled into a global health emergency, is believed to have emerged in December from a market that sold wild game in the Hubei provincial capital Wuhan.

There has been one death outside China, in the Philippines.
