Birthday girl surprised with 'Crash Landing on You'-themed party

A woman gets the surprise of her life when she was thrown a birthday party and Captain Ri was a guest— a cardboard version that is!

Anne Albano was surprised by her friends and relatives with a "Crash Landing on You"-themed birthday party complete with standees, posters and pillows of the main characters Captain Ri Jeong Hyeok and Yoon Se Ri.

One poster even had Anne's face photoshopped on a woman's body standing right beside Captain Ri.

Her loved ones decided to throw her an extravagant CLOY-inspired party, not only because she was a huge fan of the hit Korean drama series, but also because it has been two years since Anne last celebrated her birthday with them.

For her birthday this year, Anne had to fly back to the country all the way from Singapore.

The family first thought of going on a vacation, but because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, they decided to opt for a themed celebration instead.

With all the effort put in the party, it was definitely a Seri's Choice-approved concept!
