A 70-year-old woman decided to close shop and instead give away her store's goods for free amid the enhanced community quarantine.

Her granddaughter Marites Edroso shared that Nanay Belina made the decision as they were waiting for relief goods to arrive in their neighborhood in Cainta, Rizal.

10 families of tricycle drivers and construction workers received goods from Nanay Belina, as they reel from the effects of the quarantine in their livelihoods. She said that they were the people who had nothing.

Marites assured that they all eventually received relief goods from the local government.

Nanay Belina's sari-sari store has been in business for six years.

Due to the enhanced community quarantine, mass transportation, classes, and businesses in Luzon have been suspended and everyone is encouraged to stay home amid the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the country.
