AlDub fans are having feels about Alden and Maine's first meeting all over again

The magic of AlDub is still very much alive, if Twitter people's reactions are anything to go by.

GMA Network just re-aired Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye episode of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza meeting each other for the first time in Broadway, Quezon City.

Needless to say, fans are freaking out. #ALDUBxADN58thMONTHSARY and #KalyeSerye reached the third and fourth spots on Twitter Philippines' trending list as the iconic episode was rerun.

To recall, Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye segment was kickstarted in 2015 when Maine, who at the time was more popularly known as "Yaya Dub," freaked out over seeing Alden via split-screen interview.

It is only months later that the two would see each other in person for the first time. However, before they make contact, a wall of plywood falls between them.

The Kalyeserye ran well into 2016, with the AlDub craze peaking at "Tamang Panahon," a major event attended by thousands who came to watch the phenomenal love team together at the Philippine Arena.
