Two-headed piglet born in Iloilo named 'Copig'

A piglet with two heads and three eyes was born in Iloilo and named "Copig."

According to a report on "Unang Balita," the piglet was named Copig because it was born during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Animals with such a condition, which is called polycephaly, do not usually live long.

Sure enough, four days after it was born, Copig passed away.

The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives all over the world this year.

A total of 13, 434 cases have been recorded in the Philippines as of May 21, 2020, along with 3000 recoveries and 846 deaths.
