Cong TV's brother Junnie Boy pops the question to girlfriend

Pinoy vlogger Junnie Boy is the talk of the town after he proposed to his girlfriend on camera.

The YouTube star, whose real name is Marlon Velasquez, popped the question to Vien Iligan, with whom he has a son named Mavi.

Junnie Boy's latest vlog shows how Vien reacted when he got down to one knee.

Junnie Boy, who currently has more than three million YouTube subscribers, is the brother of Cong TV. Both of them make funny videos with a group of friends and family called "Team Payaman."

In the video titled "The Junnie Boy proposal," the vlogger documented his entire preparation, from buying the ring to asking permission from their parents.

Junnie Boy and the gang were able to organize a plan wherein he would surprise Vien with the ring in the middle of a game.

The "prank" ended with Vien answering his "Will you marry me?" with a sweet "Oo naman!"

Junnie Boy also explained in the video why he believed "it was time" to take the next step.

"Hindi naman kami nagsimula na may pera kami kaya hindi kami masyado nakakapagregaluhan sa sarili namin. So ngayong magpo-propose ako sa kanya isa sa mga problema ko, dati okay lang sa'min na basta magkasama lang kami," the vlogger said.

"Dahil nagka-baby kami, lagi kaming magkasama at tipong okay lang sa inyo kahit makakain lang kayo sa labas dahil lagi na kayong magkasama, sobrang mahirap mag-surprise," he added.

He said that he has been thinking of this decision for a long time.

"Siguro biglaan sa inyo ito, pero matagal ko na rin siyang pinag-iisipan at sa moment na ito, ito na ang gustong gawin ng puso ko," he said.
