Celebrities, vloggers express grief, offer prayers for Lloyd Cafe Cadena’s passing

Several celebrities and members of the vlogging community have expressed their grief and offered prayers for the passing of Lloyd Cafe Cadena.

In a video he shared on Twitter, Macoy Dubs, known for his “Aunt Julie” impressions, showed himself crying for Lloyd, his friend and schoolmate at Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

“Let’s pray for Lloyd. Let’s pray for his soul,” Macoy said in tears. “This is very ... ang hirap tanggapin kasi napakabuti ng kaibigan ni Lloyd sa ’min and as you may all know, deserve niya lahat ng success niya dahil ang buti niyang tao. Kakabili palang niya ng car, kakabili niya ng house for his family.”

Macoy said Lloyd studied financial management and they grew close during their time at Alyansa Letranista and Letran Student Council.

“This is a sad day for Letranites and to those who love him. Let’s pray for his soul. 2020 tama na, please,” he added.

Internet sensation Mimiyuuuh also expressed her grief.

“Rest in peace, KWEEN LC. Thank you for being a blessing to many people,” said Mimiyuuuh.

“Sobrang rami mong natouch na tao! May your legacy inspire more people to do good things. My sincere condolences to his family,” the vlogger added.

Vlogger Rei Germar and comedian Mikey Bustos also paid their respects.

Mikey said Lloyd was one of the few YouTubers he considered a close friend.

“We are not okay,” Mikee tweeted. “You will be missed, Lloyd! Love you, brother! There will be no other creator like you!”

Lloyd’s death was announced though a post on his Facebook account Friday.
