Lloyd Cafe Cadena YouTube channel shares ‘last vlog’

The YouTube channel of Lloyd Cafe Cadena shared on Saturday a video titled “Last Vlog.”

According to the video, it was filmed on Aug. 27, a week before Lloyd’s death on Sept. 4.

In the video, Lloyd unboxed some of the items he bought for his new home, including a fire extinguisher, a dishwashing sponge rack, and a sound bar for his TV.

“Itong mga ito, inipon ko talaga ’yung budget ko. Nag-ipon ako, hindi ako gumastos masyado, hindi ako naging burara sa pera. Nag-ipon ako para mabili ’yung mga gamit na gusto ko bilhin sa bagong bahay namin,” said the celebrity vlogger.

“So kung sa tingin niyo ang dami kong mga unboxing lately, dahil ’yun meron tayong bagong bahay at pinangarap ko lang ito noon,” he added.

Lloyd tested positive for COVID-19 shortly before his untimely death at age 26, according to his family.

The family said he was admitted to a hospital on Sept. 1 due to high fever and dry cough. He tested for COVID-19 on the same day and it yielded a positive result on Sept. 3.

By early morning the next day, Lloyd was found unresponsive and a doctor confirmed he had a heart attack while asleep.

Lloyd began vlogging a decade ago and is considered one of the local pioneers in the industry.

With over 5.3 million subscribers on YouTube and 6.5 million followers on Facebook before his death, the influential vlogger rose to fame with his funny and witty online videos. – RC, GMA News
