Work from air? Man jokingly brings his laptop with him while parasailing in Boracay

A netizen has been making rounds online with his funny take on "working remotely."

Denver Cartagena Poria from Tagum City, Davao del Norte and his cousins went to Boracay Island for a vacation earlier this January, and he had to take much of the work with him.

However, he took it a step further and brought it with him on air!

Poria said he usually does his work on his phone, but when he decided to go parasailing without filing a vacation leave, he brought his laptop with him just to poke fun at the situation.

“Naisipan ko kasi lagi akong hindi makapag-send ng quote sa client that day, puro lang ako relay ng orders sa phone," Poria told GMA News Online.

"So, naisipan ko para kwela ’yung trip, dinala ko ’yung laptop para sabihan ko ’yung amo ko na ito na ginagawa na ’yung quote humanap pa ako paraan para magka-signal,” he added.

Poria said his boss already watched the video, and luckily, his boss enjoyed it just as much as netizens did.

“Iyong reaction niya, natawa na lang siya. Nagulat na lang din ako kasi trending na pala iyong video,” he said.
