Can ‘Boy Bubuyog’ really tame menacing bees?

On Samal Island in Davao del Norte, there's a guy who's fondly called "Boy Bubuyog" or "Boy Totoy" who claims to have a unique ability to tame horrifying bees and even treat them as "friends."

In an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," which aired on Sunday, March 13, Boy Bubuyog has proven that his viral videos on social media have not been edited and that he can really let a cluster of bees swarm his face.

"It looks like a mustache. See? They're moving," Boy Bubuyog said on the episode. He even showed that he could put the bees in his mouth.

"I'm the only one who could do this. Shoutout to those who requested me to put them in my mouth, look! They are still moving," Boy Totoy added.

Aside from the bees forming a beard on his face as their bonding, Boy Bubuyog even eats with them and takes them on joyrides!

But some netizens are still hesitant to believe Boy Bubuyog's claims on his viral videos. Some are even leaving comments like, "show us the entire video to prove that it's not edited." So, during the KMJS episode, Boy Bubuyog showed some moves on taming the bees and proved himself right by letting the bees clump all over his face, ears, and neck.

In the past, Boy Totoy saw bees as his mortal enemies until he discovered something last November.

"I was able to tame the bees, and they eventually became my friends," Boy Bubuyog looked back. "Even when I'm working or doing household chores, eating or drinking coffee, they'd attach themselves to me," he added.

But why do bee stings seemingly do not affect him? Find out on the full episode of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. – Hermes Joy Tunac/RC, GMA News
