Silhouette of BTS' Jin standee has neighbors concerned for condo dweller's safety

How many of us have kind neighbors who will call our building administrators because they were concerned for our safety and well-being?

Kind neighbors calling in to check on her is exactly what TikTok user @snowlight711 experienced, according to a State of the Nation Address report on Tuesday.

She received a call from her building administrator at around 11:30 one evening to let her know that her neighbors from the next building have been concerned about a dark figure standing by her window.

"Meron silang nakikitang lalaki na nakatayo sa window ko at nakadungaw at mga four days na daw nakikitang ganyan," she narrated on her video.

"Paano ko sasabihin sa kanila na Kim Sok Jin standee ko lang siya?" The TikTok user laughed, obviously a tad embarrassed.

Since posting it two days ago, @snowlight711's TikTok video about Jin's standee has received nearly 800k views and more than 3000 curious commenters, asking all sorts of questions like where she got her standee and why her neighbors were looking at her window.

It's all in good fun really, with the bonus of knowing that there are still good people out there who will look after the safety and well-being of others.
