Teacher goes viral after lending her shoes to student on graduation day

A high school teacher has warmed hearts online after lending her shoes to a student getting ready to march on her graduation day.

According to a report on "24 Oras," the viral teacher is Cornelia Castor, who teaches Grade 10 at Pototan National Comprehensive High School in Iloilo.

Ivan Aguana of Super Radyo dzBB reported that the student, Mikay Coronado, was about to climb the stage when Teacher Cornelia saw that she was only wearing sandals.

Mikay said she did not have money to buy shoes for her special day, so she simply wore her sandals.

Teacher Cornelia did not know Mikay, but she did not hesitate to remove her own shoes and lend it to the graduate.

Congratulations Mikay and salute to Teacher Cornelia!
