"It's Showtime" made its debut on GMA"s GTV with a bang!

The iconic noontime show kicked off its journey in their new home on Saturday, and netizens couldn't stop talking about it.

On Twitter, the hashtag #GnaGsaShowtime trended no. 1 not just in the Philippines, but worldwide, with over 101,000 tweets as of writing.

Over 130,000 viewers also tuned in to the livestream on the "It's Showtime" YouTube page.

"It's Showtime" and GTV inked the deal earlier this week.

In a speech at the contract signing event, GMA Network’s Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon said that “TV war is over.” ABS-CBN’s Katigbak also thanked GMA for the kindness. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
