Tornado spotted in Baybay, Leyte

A tornado was spotted over the seas of Baybay, Leyte earlier this week.

According to a report on "Saksi" on Wednesday, the tornado lasted for 10 minutes.

State weather bureau PAGASA said it might have been formed amidst the localized thunderstorms in the area.

Meanwhile, PAGASA Visayas Regional Services Division reminded fishermen that it's dangerous to get close to tornados. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
