Egg-citing! An egg found inside another egg in Piddig, Ilocos Norte

An exciting discovery was made inside an egg in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, according to a report on "Saksi" Monday.

A resident related that they planned to have a large egg for a viand.

However, when they cracked open the said egg they were surprised to find another egg with a shell.

The Provincial Veterinary Office explained that it is possible that the eggs were hatched one after another. And one egg ended up in the other egg.

This is a rare phenomenon but the eggs are safe for human consumption. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
