Hong Kong Disneyland to hold vocalist auditions in Manila on November 29

Hong Kong Disneyland is inviting talented Filipino vocalists to audition for opportunities to join its world-class live entertainment productions.

In their website, the theme park called on aspiring performers in Manila to showcase their singing abilities, stage presence, and passion for performing as they seek opportunities to take their talent to the international stage.

Auditions are scheduled for November 29, 2026 (Sunday) at Steps Dance Studio in Makati City. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

The auditions will be conducted face-to-face only, and video submissions will not be accepted.

Interested applicants are required to bring a copy of their current headshot and an updated CV or resume with their contact information.

They must also prepare two 16-bar song selections that best showcase their vocal range, along with clearly marked sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. Prerecorded accompaniment tracks and a cappella performances will not be allowed.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a valid passport with more than six months before its expiration, and be willing to relocate to Hong Kong for the duration of their contract.

Height requirements are at least 5'4" for female performers and 5'7" for male performers.

Successful applicants may be offered year-long contracts beginning in May 2027, with an opportunity to audition for contract renewal.

According to the Disney website, they are looking for six vocalists; two for the Mickey & the Wondrous Book and four vocalists for the Castle shows.

Successful candidates will be called back on Nov. 30. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA News
