Filipino fans of American chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain have been playing a guessing game as to his whereabouts after sightings of him in Metro Manila in the last few days.

On Monday afternoon, cultural activist Carlos Celdran shared a photo of the "Parts Unknown" host on his Facebook account with the caption, "Oh wow. Look who wandered into my apartment."

"Do I have beer?" he also wrote.

It was unclear why Bourdain visited Celdran's apartment,  although from the photo it looked like the visit may have involved an interview or photo shoot.

Last Thursday, the TV personality posed for a photo with a Filipino couple in a Korean restaurant in Malate. On Friday, he was spotted eating meryenda at Jollibee on Bluebay Walk in Pasay City.

The reason for his presence in the country remains unknown.

"Parts Unknown" won a Peabody Award in 2014, a year after it premiered. The show also won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Informational Series or Special in 2013 and 2014. — Trisha Macas/BM, GMA News
