NOT SEEN ON TV: PHL’s Pia Wurtzbach tries to talk to Miss Colombia onstage after awkward announcement

Beauty pageant blog Missosology posted a video of the Miss Universe candidates onstage after the awkward announcement of winners by host Steve Harvey. Harvey mistakenly awarded Miss Colombia Ariadna María Gutiérrez Arévalo the title, before realizing that she is the first runner up and Miss Philippines is Miss Universe.

The confusion has created animosity between pageant fans and even the candidates, with Miss Germany featured in a viral interview saying "no one voted for Philippines."

In the new video posted by Missosology late Monday evening, Miss Universe contestants can be seen crowding around Miss Colombia to comfort her after she was de-crowned. A few moments later, Pia Wurtzbach tries to approach Miss Colombia, but she fails to get close enough to the jilted beauty queen.

On the foreground, Miss Montenegro (in green) shakes her head as she walks away from Pia, who is led away moments later by one of the Miss Universe staff as the rest of the beauty queens chant "Colombia! Colombia!"

A voice from the crowd can also be heard saying, "You win Colombia! No matter what!"
