New cast members of 'Rak of Aegis' give a rocking performance
It's the fifth run PETA's "Rak of Aegis" and on Wednesday, they assured everyone that they haven't run out of air.
Belting out "Basang Basa sa Ulan" were new cast members Alisah Bonaobra and Tanya Manalang, the new Aileens of the show.
Missing from the preview was the voice of Aicelle Santos, who was confined to communicating via a whiteboard under orders of a vocal rest. Fellow headliner Kim Molina also didn't sing as much — usurped by Renz Verano (who plays Kiel) and his "doble kara" routine.

"Rak of Aegis" was first staged in 2014, winning performance and technical awards in Gawad Buhay.
But beyond the "Outstanding Original Musical" trophy, director Maribel Legarda and writer Liza Magtoto said that it's the support from the people that makes "Rak" a success for them.
"Rak of Aegis" will run from June 17 to August 28, Tuesdays to Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the PETA Theater Center.
