Nothing less than excess will seem to satisfy designer Cherry Samuya Veric.

His creation was recently worn by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach at the Miss Peru 2016 coronation night. The cut was simple, but the white gown's intricate patterns seemed endless.

Veric brought the same game to the 20th Philippine Fashion Week runway at Discover Primea on Sunday, ending the two-day event with a staggering amount of sequins sewn to make ethnic patterns.

The traditional design was enhanced with modern elements, with Veric also highlighting wearable technology in partnership with Power Mac Center.

Each of his pieces from the show sparkled, but none more than the final walk of the night—head to toe in what looks from a distance like molten glitter.
