Make a great coffee table arrangement with tips from Marilen Faustino-Montenegro

Interior stylist Marilen Faustino-Montenegro joins Chesca Garcia-Kramer and Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio in giving modern moms useful tips for life in "Mommy Manual", a 30-minute lifestyle show premiering on GMA News TV on June 20.

During a press event on June 8 (Wednesday), Marilen gave a sample of her "Smart Spaces" segment and in three easy steps, she dishes out the secrets to making a coffee table arrangement that's magazine-ready.

The trick? Add height, use trays, and create vignettes.

From there, Marilen says anyone can personalize the space and be creative.

"If you have an heirloom from your grandparents or if you have a piece of decor from your grandmother or your aunt—or your child's favorite toy, you can put it there," Marilen said.

She gave a bonus advice of putting a stack of coasters on the table, to avoid water spots on the wood.
