What Honeylet, Kitty will wear to Duterte’s inauguration

It looks like President-elect Rodrigo Duterte's partner Honeylet Avanceña and their 12-year-old daughter Veronica "Kitty" Duterte will not wear the usual Filipiniana during his inauguration at the Rizal Hall in Malacañan Palace on Thursday. 

Based on the sketches posted by People's Television Network (PTV-4) on its Twitter account on Wednesday, their dresses lack the distinct butterfly sleeves. 

Duterte's Barong Tagalog designer, Aris Escarrilla of Davao City's fashion house Cardin, was tasked to design their dresses. 

Based on the sketch, Avanceña will wear a yellow and green gown with short sleeves and a semi-serpentine silhouette. Her main accessory will be a clutch made of paua shells and beads

Meanwhile, Kitty will don wear a champagne dress with an A-line silhouette. Kitty is assigned to hold the Bible during her father’s oath taking.
