Ayala Museum exhibit celebrates 25 years of illustrators’ group Ang INK
Children's book illustrators group Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK) is celebrating its quarter-century milestone with an exhibit at Ayala Museum.
“Tinker Tales” features over 200 works by Ang INK artists, inspired by stories thought up by students from The Raya School, San Vicente Elementary School, AHA Learning Center, Quality Life Discoveries, an ATD Fourth World-Philippines.
The exhibit is now open and will be on display until October 16. Check out some of the artists' works in the gallery below.
According to Ang INK in its announcement of the exhibit, the group was established in 1991 as the offshoot of a children's book illustration workshop sponsored by the Philippine Board on Books for Young People and the Goethe-Institut Manila.
The illustrators who are part of Ang INK create art for children’s books, comics, magazines, newspapers, workbooks, websites, toys, games, animation, greeting cards, posters, murals, postcards, and tv commercials.
