CW superheroes unite to fight UFOs in ‘Heroes v Aliens’ crossover
Since it began in 2012, The CW’s "Arrow" has gracefully introduced superhero programming to the mainstream, adapting the story of DC Comics superhero Green Arrow and successfully showing that a series about a hooded archer fighting in the name of justice works.
The show’s popularity has allowed its creators to expand its universe, leading to the debut of its spin-off "The Flash" in 2014. The weekly adventures of the Fastest Man Alive reintroduced another classic DC icon to modern viewers.
These shows' world has been referred to as the “Arrowverse”, and more shows have joined the line-up: the time-traveling “Legends of Tomorrow” and "Supergirl," which first aired on CBS before transferring to The CW for its second season.
As per tradition, since "Arrow" and "The Flash" started a series of crossover adventures that began in 2014, The CW is going to unite all their programs under one roof as November ends and December begins: Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and the Legends of Tomorrow join forces to fight an alien invasion threatening our world in next week’s “Heroes v Aliens” crossover event.
The crossover starts with November 28th’s episode of "Supergirl." The Girl of Steel will find herself on the same parallel world that Flash and Arrow reside in to combat The Dominators—extraterrestrial invaders that seek to endanger humanity.
The story then continues in the November 29th episode of "The Flash", then carries over to the November 30th episode of Arrow—which coincidentally marks the hundredth episode of the series.
Finally, the crossover ends on the first day of December on "Legends of Tomorrow"—where the heroes make their final stand against the Dominators once and for all.
This is going to be an EPIC gathering of your favorite heroes fighting on television, so fans of any of the shows should not miss it! Catch the big DC on the CW crossover next week! — BM, GMA News
