Cuban jazz artist Alfredo Rordiguez headlines the Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival 2017 with Dallas-born Filipino musician June Marieezy and DJ duo Tennyson.
London-based New Zealander Jordan Rakei was earlier announced as one of the main international acts for the three-day festival. Local acts Apartel, Jeck Pilpil & Peacepipe, Skarm, and Curtismith complete the lineup with Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas, Hoochie Coochie Mikkie, Similar Objects, and more.
Over 150 artists are scheduled to perform at Malasimbo from March 10 to 12.
Also at the festival are Marvelous, Rob Cudi, Chrys, Sky Dominique, Paul Romanoff, Bercel Reyes, Sky Dominique, Shannon Conrado, and Apree Ong, who impressed the crowd at the Silent Disco at the Ayala Triangle Gardens on February 18.
Artists Agnes Arellano, Wawi Navarozza, Leeroy New, Olivia D'Aboville, Lena Cobangbang, Pablo Capati, and more will provide visual treats for the audience.
The arts and music festival will be held from March 10-12, 2017, and tickets are being sold on the festival's website. Festival-goers can purchase the Friday (March 10) ticket for P745, the Saturday (March 11) ticket for P1,745, the Sunday (March 12) ticket for P1,245, and the 3-day pass for P3,495. — AT, GMA News
