Gal Gadot shines in new poster, trailer for ‘Wonder Woman’
Still have reservations about Gal Gadot’s upcoming performance as “Wonder Woman”?
Check out the brand new trailer released by Warner Bros. for the movie that tells the story of how Princess Diana of Themyscira first came to the world of man and battled great evils before Superman and Batman even came into the picture.
The trailer shows new scenes featuring Gadot and Chris Pine as Diana’s mortal friend/love interest Steve Trevor. Battling evils that are familiar to her Amazon heritage, Diana will face new challenges and learn new truths as her journey to become the familiar female superhero we love begins.
The studio also released a new poster, with Gadot shining majestically as the Amazon Warrior Princess in a pose that will be familiar to Wonder Woman fans: in the middle of a World War I battlefield, Diana charges through and lifts her iconic wristguard to deflect bullets coming her way—signifying that she is no mere mortal and one of the first heroes the world has ever seen.

Wearing a brighter version of the costume seen in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” Diana is just about to embark on her quest to be a defender of humanity in this prequel entry in the DC Extended Universe directed by Patty Jenkins.
"Wonder Woman" opens in theaters on June 1. — BM, GMA News
