LEARNING MADE MORE FUN FOR KIDS

Make your own miniature Grand Mosque of Cotabato through the NCCA's paper craft series

Now you can show your children some of the country’s landmarks and heritage sites, right at your home.

In miniature, of course.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) added more landmarks and heritage sites to its “paper craft” series, among them, the Grand Mosque of Cotabato or the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Masjid, the largest mosque in the Philippines.

These make-your-own miniatures are downloadable at the NCCA website, and features some of the country’s landmarks, including:

  • the Cordillera rice terraces
  • Barasoain Church in Bulacan
  • Aguinaldo Shrine in Cavite
  • Miagao Church in Iloilo
  • Paoay Church in Ilocos Norte
  • Magellan’s Cross in Cebu
  • Rizal Monument
  • Manila Metropolitan Theater
  • Malacañang Palace
  • Quezon Memorial Shrine
  • Bonifacio Monument.

The NCCA first launched its paper craft printable sculptures in 2015 with the Rizal Monument.

In 2016, the NCCA added paper art of the Manila Metropolitan Theater (MET) and the Rice Terraces
