Indie film about Fliptop is big winner at this year’s Cinemalaya

"Respeto" took home seven trophies at this year's Cinemalaya Film Festival 2017, which formally closed with an awards night at the Cultural Center of the Philippines on Sunday, August 13.

Alberto Montreras II's indie film about Fliptop battles took home the Best Film and Audience Choice Awards, while cast member Dido De La Paz won Best Supporting Actor.
